Suresh into Hall of Fame with win at Heatherwoode

The Girls 15-19 division was a tight race to the finish as Nikitha Suresh, Nora Meek and Ellie Hartung all finished within one stroke of each other. Nikitha played her final 10 holes in one under par enroute to a one stroke victory! She carded rounds of 77-76 for a two-day total score of 153 (+11). This win earned Nikitha her place in the Golfweek Hall of Fame, Congratulations! Nora and Ellie finished in a tie for 2nd place with a total score of 154 (+12), just one stroke shy of the lead.





Alex Cook took home his third Boys 14-15 division title of the season and earned his first overall Boys 14-19 division victory! He cared rounds of 70-71 -- 141 (-1) to earn a 3-stroke victory! Alex led the field in bogey avoidance, only making 4 over the 36 holes of competition, which continues to prove to be one of the more important statistical measures of our champions. Matthew Kreusch fired rounds of 68-76 -- 144 (+2) to earn runner up honors. Matthew card a Hole-in-One during the opening round on the par-3, 3rd Hole at Heatherwoode Golf Club, congratulations! Michael Moorman rounded out our podium finishers with a two-day total of 145 (+3). Jackson Adams and Patrick Paquette finished in a tie for 4th place at 149 (+7). Jackson led the entire field in birdies, carding 9 over the two rounds.

Griffin Wullenweber earned a three-stroke victory in the Boys 16-19 division after firing rounds of 70-73 -- 143 (+1). He finished in fashion making an eagle on his final hole of the tournament to lock up the win! Griffin led the field in par breakers with 6 birdies and an eagle. CJ Scohy, Jonathan Campbell and Micah Sheffer finished in a tie for 2nd place at 146 (+4). Jonas Borland and Andrew Gochenouer tied for 5th place at 147 (+5).






Niya Chebli was in a tight race for the Girls 14 and Under division until she turned on the jets in the final round to pull away from the field. Niya carded rounds of 89-78 enroute to a nine-stroke victory! Malavika Nair earned runner up honors after firing rounds of 90-86 -- 176. Sydney Phan rounded out our podium finishers in third place with a two-day total score of 186.






The Boys 13 and Under division needed extra holes to decide the champion as Hayden Li and Maximus Humphreys were tied at 141 (-1). Hayden fired a 4-under par front nine during the final round including 3 birdies in a row! Maximus played his final 10 holes at 4-under par to finish in a tie at the top! Both players made par on the opening playoff hole before Hayden Li was victorious on the 2nd playoff hole with par! Gavin Davis carded rounds of 70-73 -- 143 (+1) to earn a third-place finish!






Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club hosted another field of players for our double header weekend. Chris Pollak took home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 divisions earning an exemption to the Uswing Mojing Junior World Championship! Chris carded 6 birdies in the final round enroute to a 3-under par, 69 which earned him a one-stroke victory! Alexander Eckstein connected on 10 birdies over the 36 holes of competition, enroute to rounds of 72-69 to earn runner up honors at 141 (-1). Ravi Desai and Jackson Harris finished in a tie for 3rd place at level par, 144.






Alyssa Zhang opened the tournament with 2-under par round of 70 to take a 6-stroke lead heading into the final round. Her 76 during Sunday's round was good enough to hold off her competition to take home the Girls 15-19 and overall, Girls 11-19 division titles! Alyssa also earned an exemption into the Uswing Mojing Junior World Championship, congratulations! Kate Sowers carded rounds of 76-71 to earn runner up honors at 147 (+3), just one stroke back of the lead. Keisha Han rounded out our podium finishers at 150 (+6).






Michael Quallich and Nico Ward were tied at the top of the leaderboard after 36 holes of competition at 141 (-3). They both led the division in birdies connecting on 10 over the two rounds! Michael and Nico would par the first playoff hole before Michael would earn the Boys 14-15 division title on the second playoff hole with par! Mac Ferguson carded rounds of 72-71 to round out our podium finishers at 143 (-1) in third place.






Anna Phillips, class of 2030, ran away with the Girls 14 and Under division after rounds of 76-73 earned her an 18-stroke victory! She connected on 5 birdies over the weekend which led the field! Paige Sowers earned runner up honors with rounds of 85-82. Korrine Knaze rounded out our podium finishers with a two-day total score of 173.






Elijah Stewart took home the Boys 13 and Under division after back-to-back excellent rounds of 71 to finish the event at 142 (-2) and earned a six-stroke victory! Elijah led the field in birdies connecting on 8 of them over the weekend! Nick Pollak carded rounds of 71-77 to earn runner up honors. Trent Riedel rounded out our podium finishers at 151 (+7).
