Starting in 2021, the GolfWeek Junior Tour established the Elite Series

 

These events are intended to have stronger strength of fields by establishing criteria for acceptance into the field and do not use a first, come first serve entry system.

The Elite Series has specific criteria for how players will be accepted

All players who are interested in competing must register before the field selection date 

​

2026 Elite Events

 

  • Elite Event @ Harmony Landing       Louisville, KY           March 14-15, 2026

  • Elite Event @ Kearney Hill                  Lexington, KY          March 28-29, 2026

  • Elite Event @ Denison Golf Club       Granville, OH           April 25-26, 2026 

  • Elite Event @ Gibson Bay                    Richmond, KY          May 16-17, 2026

  • Elite Event @ North Star                     Columbus, OH          July 20-21, 2026

  • Elite Event @ NCR CC                            Dayton, OH              October 24-25, 2026

  • Elite Event @ UK Club - Big Blue        Lexington, KY          October 31-1, 2026

  • Elite Event                                               Tennessee                November 21-22, 2026

 

 


On a specific date, 5-6 weeks prior to the event, our staff will evaluate all players who have registered based on the following criteria and accept them into the event in the following order:

 

1) Winners of ANY past GolfWeek Junior Tour events in the Boys 14-15*, Boys 16-19*, and Girls 15-19* divisions

(*Field Size minimums required, same as HOF requirements)  

 

- Players with a qualifying win are guaranteed a position in the field and will be put into the event as long as they register before the selection date. 

 

 

- Once all former winners are accepted into the field remaining spots in the field will be filled with the next criteria

 

 

 

2) GolfWeek Jr Tour Player of the Year point standings

 

- Boys will be accepted in the following order 

 

    Boys 16-19 Player of the Year rankings 1st - 10th 

 

    Boys 14-15 Player of the Year rankings 1st - 5th 

 

- Girls will be accepted in the following order

 

    Girls 15-19 Player of the Year rankings 1st - 10th 

 

 

- Only players that meet these point ranking requirements will be accepted by this criteria

 

 

- Remaining spots in the field will be filled with the next criteria

 

 

 

3) Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings

 

- All remaining positions in the field will be filled by the highest/best ranked players in Junior Golf Scoreboard.

 

 

Waiting List - Players will be taken in off waiting lists, based on our normal waiting list policy, which brings in players with the highest/best rankings in Junior Golf Scoreboard
