Zipfel Earns Record Breaking Win at Park Mammoth

Harrison Zipfel positioned himself at the top of the leaderboard carding four birdies and an eagle enroute to a 66 (-4), despite the 30 mph gusts of wind. He continued his excellent play into the final round, carding nine more birdies on his way to a 62 (-8)! Harrison's final round ties the record for lowest 18-hole score on our tour! He broke the 9-hole scoring record with a 29 on the front nine and his final score of 128 broke the 36-hole scoring record, Congratulations Harrison! Grey Anderson fired rounds of 70-69 to earn runner up honors at 139 (-1), Evan Hall rounded out the podium finishers with rounds of 71-69--140 (E).

Sara Kolar earned her first career GolfWeek Junior Tour victory at Park Mammoth! She carded rounds of 78-77 to take home the Girls 15-19 and overall, Girls 11-19 division titles! Sara added three birdies to her card enroute to her two-stroke win, great playing! Zoe Keene earned runner up honors with rounds of 79-78 for a two-day total score of 157 (+17). Taylor Ross rounded out the podium finishers after posting rounds of 78-80 -- 158 (+18).

Rowdy Harris took home the Boys 14-15 division title in his first start on the GolfWeek Junior Tour. He posted rounds of 72-69 to finish the event at 141 (+1) and earn a one stroke win! Grant Guetig broke out to an early lead after his two under par round of 68 on Saturday and followed with a 74 during round 2 to earn runner up honors at 142 (+2). Jackson Adams carded rounds of 75-70 to earn third place honors at 145 (+5).

Amaya Bellon earned her second victory in the Girls 14 and Under division after firing rounds of 79-79. She carded two birdies on her way to a seven-stroke win! Layna Patel fired rounds of 89-76 to earn runner up honors at 165 (+25). Olivia Huffman rounded out the podium finishers after rounds of 88-79 to finish the event at 167 (+27).
