Wulkopf and Brown beat the cold

Benjamin Wulkopf brought home his first win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour with a 3 under par, 32 on the 9 hole shortened Sunday finish. Benjamin's first round was display of consistency with 2 birdies and 3 bogies to post a 72, and trail first round medalist, Daniel Heister. It was Ben's Sunday finish, though, that catapulted him into a 3 stroke victory over Riley Bender who also posted a great Sunday finish with a 2 under par 33.

The Hall of Famer, Macie Brown added another win to her resume on the GolfWeek Jr Tour with a dominate 7 stroke victory. Her first round included 4 birdies on her way to posting the low round of the day, a 1 over par 72. Her Sunday start gave back 2 strokes to the course with a bogey at 12 and 14, but she would finish with exclamation points with an eagle on the 17th, and a birdie on the 18th.

Finley Bartlett took home his second victory of this season and his 7th of his career by leading the field in birdies for the two days. Finley's first round would take medalist honors with a 74 and two birdies, but it was his Sunday finish with a 35 that would give him a 2 stroke victory over Jack Talbott. Bartlett's Sunday 9 holes would start with a birdie on his 1st, and 2nd holes and he would close out with 3 birdies and an even par 35.

Meadow Tian took home her first victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour this weekend with an outstanding Sunday finish, a 1 over par 37. Meadow would start Sunday on the 18th hole and par her first 4 holes. After a bogey on 13 and a double bogey on 14, Meadow and Lorna Zhang were tied for the event. However, Meadow would then birdie the 15th and 16th and claim the victory by 3 strokes over Lorna Zhang. Lorna would win the Fall player of the year title for the Girls 14 & Under with help from her two wins and second place this weekend.
