Worthington overcomes Webster in Extra Holes

Brayden Worthington captured first place in the Boys 16–19 division at Heartland Crossings this weekend, finishing at 6-under par with back-to-back rounds of 69. Worthington shared the lead at 6-under with Charlie Webster, whose impressive final-round 68 (-4) earned him a spot in a playoff with Worthington on Sunday. Both players made par on the first playoff hole before Worthington secured the victory with another par on the second hole, earning the tournament title. Drew Carlson rounded out the top three in the Boys 16–19 division with a two-day total of 140 (-4). Carlson put together a strong 36-hole performance, recording an impressive 11 birdies throughout the tournament.






Henry Glarner captured the Boys 14–15 division title this weekend, carding rounds of 72 and 70 to finish at 2-under par and earn a three-shot victory over Graham DeMarco. DeMarco finished runner-up with a two-day total of 145 (+2). Cameron Amen rounded out the top three, rebounding from an opening-round 76 with an impressive final-round 71 to finish at 3-over par for the tournament.
