Windy weekend in Oxford, OH

Michaela Headlee posted the round of the day on both Saturday and Sunday at Indiana Ridge on her way to her third win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour. Her dominate performance resulted in a 6 stroke win over Reagan Ramage as she tied for the lead in birdies made for the weekend with 7, and on a windy and difficult weekend only posted 1 double bogey. This win also comes in one of the largest fields of the year and vaults her into 15th place in the player of the year race with just 3 events played this season.

Zack Beard closed out his second win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour this season while holding off Cameron Jarvis and Finley Bartlett by 1 stroke. On a windy and difficult weekend, Zack would never record a double bogey or worse, and his 8 birdies would result in an even par total of 144. The North Kentucky commit, Beard, won the event with help from the front nine, where he scored a 35 on Saturday and Sunday.

Leading the Player of the Year race in the Boys 14-15, Finley Bartlett has distanced himself from the rest of the GolfWeek Jr Tour with his fourth win of the season and the low round Sunday. His 71, 1 under par, came in howling winds and took home the medalist honors for round 2 out of all 90 players. His closing 35 was almost enough to tie for the overall Boys 14-19 title with Zack Beard, who would ultimately finish just 1 stroke ahead of him.

Conor Hickey was able to hold off Landon Snyder, the current leader in the Player of the Year race, this weekend at Indian Ridge by going 2 under par his final 3 holes. His two day total of 148 took home the Boys 13 & under title in his first win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour. Conor would lead the field with 6 birdies and an eagle on the 9th hole Saturday.

Kelsey Haverluck took home her first win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour and did so with a closing 78 on a windy and difficult Sunday. Her Sunday round of 78 was only beaten by 2 girls, Michaela Headlee and Reagan Ramage who finished 1-2 in the Girls 15-19 respectively.
