Upchurch and Ray earn Titles at Ball State

Mattingly Upchurch earned his first Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 victory on the GolfWeek Junior Tour at his future home course, Ball State University - Delaware CC. He led the field in birdies, carding 12 enroute to a five-stroke victory! Mattingly opened with a 67 (-3) to hold the overnight lead tied with Isaac Kelley. Mattingly turned up the heat during the final round with a six under par 64 to pull ahead of the field and finish the event at 131 (-9)! Isaac Kelley posted rounds of 67-69 to earn runner up honors at 136 (-4). Holden Orofino posted a final round 68 (-2) to climb the leaderboard and earn third place honors at 138 (-2).

Myles Ray earned his second victory of the season in the Boys 14-15 division after carding nine birdies enroute to a four-stroke win! He posted rounds of 71-70 to finish the event at one over par, 141. Vaughn Twilla carded rounds of 73-72 to earn runner up honors at five over par, 145. Carson Scheiben rounded out our podium finishers at 147 (+7) after rounds of 73-74. Collin Bauer and Wyatt Oberlin finished in a tie for 4th place at 149 (+9).

Luke Moore earned his first GolfWeek Junior Tour victory after back-to-back rounds of 74. Luke led the field from wire-to-wire enroute to a three-stroke victory at 148 (+8)! Max DeHaven posted rounds of 76-75 to earn runner up honors at 151 (+11). Austin Carter carded rounds of 79-73 to round out the podium finishers at 152 (+12).
