Tian, Vilela Win Tour Championship




Meadow Tian continued her fantastic season at the Golfweek Junior Tour Championship. Meadow took home the title for her third win of the season and 10th top five finish. Her win secured her position as the 2023-2024 Player of the Year by a razor thin margin. It is the second Tour Championship win for Meadow, who also won in 2022. She was dominant with all three rounds at even par or under and won the tournament by a whopping nine strokes. The first round 69 tied her lowest 18 hole round from this season. Her final score was a three under par 213. Clare Yeazell (77-74-71), Sydney Deal (73-74-75), and Maya Fujisawa Kueling (66-75-81) all tied for second at 222.






Nick Vilela entered the final round on Monday at the Golfweek Tour Championship five strokes back of the leader. Nick went to work quickly with three birdies in his first seven holes. By the end of the day, he'd recorded five birdies against only one bogey for a four under par 68. That sent him to the top of the leaderboard for his third victory of the season and first Tour Championship title at five under par 211. CJ Scohy posted rounds of 68-70-75 for a 213 total and second place. Jack Flores took third at 214 with scores of 69-66-79.






Ravi Desai kept his hot streak rolling by winning his first Golfweek Tour Championship. on Monday at Kearney Hill Golf Links. Ravi won his second tournament title of the spring and extended his top 5 streak to 6, every start he's had on the Golfweek Junior Tour. It took 56 holes for Ravi to secure the win. After finishing at one over par 217 , Ravi forced a playoff. He parred both holes of the playoff to take the trophy. Colton Woosley shot 217 and finished in second with cores of 76-74-67. Micah Sheffer (74-78-68) and Miles Green (72-74-74) tied for third place at 220.






Brookman Tyrer was excellent from the outset this past weekend at Kearney Hill Golf Links. He followed up a first round 69 with a second round 67. That put him at eight under par and gave him a three shot lead heading into the final round. On Monday, he recorded four birdies and brought it into the clubhouse at two over 74. That gave him a six shot margin of victory and was his second title this spring and the fourth of his career. Alex Cook shot 65-77-74 for a 216 total and second place. Grant Guetig (75-70-72) and Brady Faulkner (72-71-74) both tied for third place at 217.






Anna Norris began Monday's final round at the Golfweek Junior Tour Tour Championship three shots behind the leader. Anna then posted four birdies en route to a final round even par 72 at Kearney Hill Golf Links. Her 218 total left her five strokes clear of her nearest competitor. Anna took the crown despite playing in just her first Golfweek Junior Tour event. Anna tied for the tournament lead with eight birdies during the event. Willa Borough shot rounds of 71-72-80 and wound up in second place at 223. Nikita Suresh (72-76-79) finished in third at 227.
