Tian Collects Another Win




Meadow Tian fired the round of the day on both days at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace to rack up yet another win, adding to her illustrious career total with 9 Golfweek Junior Tour wins. Her 74 on Saturday left her tied for the led and she shot the round of the tournament on Sunday with a one under par 71. Her Sunday round included three birdies including one at 15 which proved to be the margin of victory. Sydney Deal shot rounds of 74 and 72 to finish at 146 total and in second place. Josie Kelley posted rounds of 78-72 for a 150 and third place.






Dean Upholzer stood on the 18th tee on Sunday at Pipestone Golf Course behind by a single stroke. He birdied and managed to snag his first Golfweek Junior Tour win in about a year and the third of his career. Dean tied for the round of the day on both Saturday and Sunday (72 and 73, respectively) to finish at 145. He carded seven birdies over the two day event and none was bigger than the final one which gave him a one shot win. Zach Gempel (72-74) and Michael Stagnaro (73-73) both tied for second place at 146.






Ben Fauver shot the round of the tournament on day one at Pipestone Golf Course with a one under par 71. That round established a four stroke lead that he never gave gave back in the final round on Sunday. It was the third win of the 2023-2024 season for Ben and the fifth of his Golfweek Junior Tour career. He as able to play Sunday on cruise control, making 14 pars. He ended up leading the field in pars over the weekend with 27. Parker Melin shot 76-73 for a 149 total and second place. Mitchell Sargent rounded out the top three with a 76-74, 150 total.






Patrick Myers continued an excellent season by picking up his third win of the season on Sunday at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace. Patrick started the final round two strokes behind the first round leader despite his opening round of two under par 70. He was even better on Sunday, at one point pushing his round to five under par before eventually signing for a four under par 68 and the win. Aaron Xu fired 72-73 for a 145 and finished seven shots back in second. Alex Cook (68-78) wound up in third at 146.






Hannah Kim shot back to back 79s and won for the first time in just two career Golfweek Junior Tour starts. Hannah's opening round 79 on Saturday at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace featured a birdie on #3. That opening round gave her a three shot lead heading into Sunday. She went out on Sunday in 38 and proceeded to tie for the low round of the day on her way o a 158 total. Allison Weisbrod shot rounds of 82-84 and finished at 166, second place. Ava Hesselschwardt posted a 92-79, 171 total to finish in third.
