Sunday Rounds Propel Morgan, Tian Into HOF

Cayse Morgan started Sunday morning one back of the lead and had some early struggles, falling behind by as many as three strokes. However, he kicked it into gear and played his final 12 holes in six under par to earn the win at Harmony Landing Country Club. The win was Cayse's 4th of the season and 9th of his GJT career. By virtue of his overall win, Cayse joins the Golfweek Junior Tour Hall of Fame. He shot 73-68 for a 141 total on the weekend. Chris Pollak and Jack Michael tied for second place. Chris shot 72-75 for a 147 total and Jack shot 73-74 for the same 147 total on the weekend.

Meadow Tian was lights out on Sunday in Louisville. She carded 5 birdies against only one bogey to record a career low 67 and grab a win after starting the day three shots behind. She started off hot with a birdie at the first hole and never looked back. The win was sixth win of Meadow's GJT career and catapulted her into the Golfweek Junior Tour Hall of Fame. She shot 79-67 over the weekend, good for a 146 total. Taylor Larkins shot 76-74 for a 150 total and finished in second place. Third place went to Caroline Thompson after she shot 76-75 for a 151 total.

Jacob Settles got it done when it mattered most at Harmony Landing. Jacob was 1 stroke off the lead with two holes to play but birdied each of the last two holes to squeeze out a one shot win. It continued his hot play and gave him victories in back-to-back weeks. It was the third win of Settles' GJT career and second this season. He shot 74-67 over the two day event for a 141 total. Peyton Blackard played well on Sunday with a 68 after a Saturday 74. That left him alone in second place at 142. Kellen Dean rounded out the top three with a 71-76, 147 total.
