Micah Sheffer captured his first win in the Boys 16-19 division in his first start and won his first overall title on the GWJT. Micah went into Sunday's round four shots back of the lead but carded 5 birdies on Sunday in route to a two under par 70 and the victory. Forrest Benson and Xavier Huestis tied for second place, both shooting 1 under par for the weekend.
A playoff was needed to decide the Boys 14-15 champion this past weekend at Hueston Woods. Beckett Dodge and Jacob Chien tied at 148 after 36 holes.
