Seniors Win at Hueston Woods

Playing in her last Summer on the GolfWeek Jr Tour, the University of Findlay commit, Hayley Dye closed out Sunday with a flawless 5 under par 67. Heading into the second round, Hayley was 1 stroke back of Madelyn Young, but Hayley would quickly overtake the lead by opening with 4 under par in the first 6 holes. Madelyn would make a comeback playing her final 16 holes in 1 under par, but it wasn't enough to overtake Hayley's Sunday round.

Playing in his final event on the GolfWeek Jr Tour, Brandon Conner posted a final round 67 to overtake first round leaders Bradley Hinkel and Nick Feighner to take home his first victory on tour. The Binghamton University commit would card 8 birdies on Sunday and would close out with birdies on #17 and #18 to take home the Boys 16-19 and overall boys title by 4 strokes.

After playing last season in the Boys 13 & Under division, Micah Sheffer, has moved into the Boys 14-15 division and posted the low round on Saturday for not only the Boys 14-15 division, but also the Boys 16-19 division as well. His first round 71 came with 3 birdies and just 2 bogies on his way to a one under par round. His second round would begin with a rocky start, but he would complete his final 12 holes in 1 over par to take home the Boys 14-15 title by 2 strokes.

Olivia Donovan took home her first victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour this weekend with posting the low round Saturday, and again on Sunday. She posted 3 birdies for the weekend and would take home the Girls 14 & Under title over Lila Maffett and Elle Nolan.

It took Austin Nicholas a birdie on the final hole Sunday to win the Boys 13 & Under title by just 1 stroke over Michael Pagnotto. It was a close battle on the back nine Sunday with Austin having the lead over Michael with 9 holes remaining, but a misstep on #16 and #17 would put them tied through 35 holes. It was the final hole birdie for Austin that would give him the title and his first victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour.
