Ryu Joins the Hall of Fame with Win

Elizabeth Ryu shot the round of the tournament on Saturday at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club with a two under par 70. She then followed that up with a second round 77 that left her two clear of her nearest competitor. The win was the seventh of Elizabeth's Golfweek Junior Tour career and also sent her into the GJT Hall of Fame. She joins her sister (Audrey, class of 2023) to become the first pair of siblings in the Hall of Fame. Keira Yun (75-74) took second place with a 149. Emma Lindemoen shot rounds of 79-73 for a 152 and third place.

Landon Stillwell was down by two shots heading into the final nine holes on Sunday at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club. Landon promptly birdied his 10th hole (hole #1) and then piled on three more birdies coming down the stretch. That run was enough to wind up with a three under 33 on the back and a 71 for the day. Landon captured his first Golfweek Junior Tour win with a two-day score of 144, even par. Williams Hudson finished one stroke back in second place at 145 (72-73). Third place went to Luke Johnston with rounds of 74-73, 147 total.

Will Judd tied for the low round of the day on Saturday with a 74 and then followed that up with the round of the tournament on Sunday with a one under par 71. That 145 was enough to earn Will a two stroke victory, the second of his GJT career. Will started the final round in a three way tie, but consecutive birdies on holes 5-7 gave him the breathing room he needed to bring home the win. Peyton Smith (75-72) shot 147 to end the weekend in second place. Ravi Desai shot 76-73, 149 total and rounded out the top three.
