Ryu and Surrey battled the wind enroute to Victory

Elizabeth Ryu led the Girls 15-19 division at Gibson Bay from wire-to-wire carding rounds of 73-75. She handled the 30-40 mph winds on Saturday to perfection during her opening round of 73, beating the field average by over 11 strokes! Elizabeth continues to build on her already impressive Hall of Fame career with Golfweek Junior Tour, amassing 9 wins! Carter Lankford fired rounds of 77-75 to earn runner up honors at 152 (+8). Mackenzie Federspiel and Aubrey Barrow tied for 3rd place at 154 (+10) for the two rounds of competition.

Nate Surrey earned his first Golfweek Junior Tour victory after carding rounds of 74-69 -- 143 (-1)! He played his final 9 hole in 3 under par enroute to taking home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division titles! Luc Kelty's rounds of 74-70 earned him 2nd place at level par for the tournament, just one stroke shy of the lead. Luc kept the pressure on Surrey with a birdie on the final hole! McCartney Hinkle, Micah Sheffer and Rawlin Sutter finished in a tie for 3rd place at 146 (+2).

The Boys 14-15 division was tied at the top of the leaderboard after 36 holes of play with Miles Green and Michael Pagnotto carding a two-day total of 148 (+4). Michael and Miles tied the first playoff hole with pars before Miles poured in a par save on the second to take home the division title! Anson Munzlinger carded rounds of 77-72 to earn 3rd place at 149 (+5).

Kate Sowers dominated the Girls 15-19 division at Kent State University - Windmill Lakes GC carding back-to-back 72's to take home the title by six strokes! She led the field in birdies connecting on 5 during the event, with 4 of those during the final round. Dixon Hill fired a pair of 75's to finish the event at 150 (+10) and earn 2nd place by one stroke. Ellie Hutzler rounded out our podium finishers at 151 (+11) with rounds of 75-76.

Sam Fauver improved his Hall of Fame resume with another victory after carding rounds of 72-70. Sam finished the event at 2 over par, 142 and took home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division titles! Sam and his brother, Ben Fauver, led the field in birdies with 6 for the tournament. Jacob Rainieri fired the round of the tournament on Sunday with a 2-under par, 68, that propelled him up the leaderboard into 2nd place! Wyatt Lindholm and Angelo Rinaldi tied for 3rd place at 146 (+6).

The Girls 14 and Under division was tied at the top of the leaderboard after 36 holes of play at 150 (+10) between Taylor Harstine and Amelia Buettner. Taylor and Amelia tied the first two playoff holes before Taylor drained a birdie putt on the 3rd playoff hole to take home her 3rd title of the season! Korrine Knaze carded rounds of 77-74 to earn a 3rd place finish and narrowly missing the playoff by one stroke.

Patrick Paquette earned his 3rd Golfweek Junior Tour victory carding rounds of 71-74 to take home the Boys 14-15 division title! He finished the event at 5 over par for the event at 145 to earn the 2-stroke victory. Ethan White fired rounds of 70-77 to earn runner up honors at 147 (+7). Nathan Chege and Kadan Schuette finished in a tie for 3rd place at 150 (+10).
