Reitsma, Mercer and Klopfer Win Inaugural Sim Series Event

Junior golfers across the Midwest competed in the first ever GolfWeek Junior Tour Simulator Series, powered by Trackman. The event was played on the world renowned 2025 US Open venue, Oakmont Country Club. Cooper Reitsma, a four-time winner on the GWJT and H
all of Fame member, took home the Boys 14-19 division title with a stellar round of 66 (-4). Cooper carded five birdies enroute to a four stoke victory! Patrick Myers earned runner up honors after a level par round of 70, which included two birdies. Brendan Biegler, Jackson Geiger and Camden Tegt rounded out the podium finishers in a tie for 3rd place at 71 (+1). Brendan took home the Closest to the Pin title on the Par 3, 16th Hole, hitting his approach to 25 ft 6 in from roughly 230 yards! Camden Tegt unleashed on his drive on the par 5, 12th hole, 310 yards to win the Long Drive title!
Eliza Mercer carded three birdies enroute to a fantastic round of 75 (+4) to take home the Girls division title by 1 stroke over Maddy Johnston! Eliza is headed to Youngstown State University after she graduates in the Spring of 2026. Her win earns her an exemption into one of our Elite Events in 2026! She also took home the Closest to the Pin title with an approach to 20 ft 1 in! Congratulations, Eliza! Maddy Johnston earned runner up honors with a round of 76 which included two birdies! Ava Solak rounded out the podium finishers in third place with a round of 83 (+12). Mia Hart took home the Long Drive title with a 239-yard drive on the par 5, 12th hole!
Ben Klopfer took home the Boys 13 and Under title after a round of 75 (+4) earned him a one stroke victory! Ben carded one birdie on his round and also took home the Closest to the Pin title with an approach to 14 ft 2 in on the par 3, 16th hole! Luca Leavell earned runner up honors with a five over par round of 76. Robert Clemency finished in third place with a round of 78 (+7). Robert also took home the Long Drive title with a 242-yard bomb on the par 5, 12th Hole!
