Red numbers at Heatherwoode


Clare Yeazell posted her lowest round ever on the GolfWeek Jr Tour in the first round with with a 3 under par, 68 to give her the medalist round by 6 strokes. Her opening nine included 4 birdies and no bogies and after that she would never relinquish the lead. Sydney Deal almost forced a playoff, though, with a birdie on the final hole to post a 69 and finish just one stroke short of Clare's 143 total. This win at Heatherwoode is Clare's first victory on tour after recording 2 runner up finishes and 1 third place finish this season.



Victor Caliguri's last appearance on the GolfWeek Jr Tour was a win at the Elite Event at Kearney Hill. This week he looking to repeat after a first round 69 that put him in 2nd place, behind Cameron Uhl, heading into Sunday. Victor would birdie the opening hole in the second round to pull within one stroke but it was the 4th hole where Cameron would birdie and Victor would record an 8, and Cameron would take a 5 stroke lead. Victor would dig deep after that hole and play the next 14 holes 4 under par and take home the Boys 16-19 victory and the overall boys victory.




Finley Bartlett tied for the low round of the tournament on Sunday with a 4 under par, 67 which included 5 birdies and just 1 bogey. He was able to overtake Cayse Morgan and Gavin Augenstein by finishing his final 7 holes in 4 under par to take home the victory by 4 strokes and and take home his 5th victory of the 2021-2022 season.




Eva Maley would dominate the Girls 14 & Under field this weekend posting the low round for each day. Her opening 74 was the medalist round by 10 strokes over Brigid Nickell. Eva would go out on Sunday and post the low round again with a solid 79 to extend her lead to 12 strokes and take home her first victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour




Jacob Holzer won his first event on the GolfWeek Jr Tour with solid rounds of 72-72 and had a close battle with second place finisher, Ethan White. Ethan would finish just 1 stroke back of Jacob for the weekend as the two players would post 144 and 143 respectively.
