Ramage into the HOF with Win at WKU

88 players braved the cold temps and high winds in our 2025 event opener at Western Kentucky University - Bowling Green Country Club. The Girls 15-19 division was dominated by future "Lady Topper", Reagan Ramage, with a commanding 17-stroke victory. Ramage carded rounds of 77-70, to finish the event at 3-over par, 147. Her 2-under par, 70, in the final round was highlighted by 4 birdies and 12 pars. This victory earned her a spot in the GWJT Hall of Fame, Congratulations Reagan! Chloe Witcher and Caroline Childers rounded out our podium finishers in a tie for 2nd Place at 164 (+20).

The Boys 16-19 division was a tight race to finish as Landon Hunt and Rawlin Sutter were tied at the top of the leaderboard with 3 holes remaining. Landon was able to edge past Rawlin in the closing stretch to take home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division titles! Landon's final round 69 (-3) was the round of the tournament, including a huge back nine push that included 4 birdies in a 5-hole stretch to propel him to victory. Landon carded rounds of 76-69 to finish the event at 145 (+1). Rawlin Sutter finished solo second after rounds of 72-74--146 (+2). Rawlin's opening round of 72 was the low round of the day by far, as players dealt with 20-30 mph winds throughout the day! Cameron Herring rounded out our podium in 3rd place after carding 78-72--150 (+6).

Rosie Patterson took home the Girls 14 & Under division title by 7-strokes after rounds of 84-92--176 (+32). Rosie led the field with the most birdies, pars and bogey avoidance in her division! Rosie also carded an excellent score of 39 on her front nine during the very difficult conditions on Saturday! Makenna Myatt finished runner-up with rounds of 93-90--183 (+39). Ellie Morgan rounded out our top 3 after carding 98-102--200 (+56). Congratulations to all players!

Anderson Lang was victorious in the Boys 14-15 division after a 4-stroke victory. Anderson opened with a 5-over par round of 77 and a 3-stroke overnight lead. He was able to hold off charging competitor Braxton Head, who fired the round of the day, 74, on Sunday. Anderson finished the event with rounds of 77-80--157 (+13), to take home the trophy. Braxton Head earns the 'most improved' award after carding rounds of 87-74 to shoot up the leaderboard to finish in 2nd Place at 161 (+17). Ashton Gordon rounded out our podium finishers with 80-83--163 (+19).
