Ramage and Lang take first event of 2022!
Reagan Ramage took home her second win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour with the low round of the tournament for all boys and girls, a 2 under par, 70 on Sunday. Her three birdies and one bogey in the second round was enough to erase a 4 stroke deficit coming into the final round and record her lowest score on tour. Coming in second place, Isabella Wiley recorded an excellent score of 75 which included a hole in one on the 7th hole!
Jacob Lang took home his first GolfWeek Jr Tour victory on his home course of Bowling Green CC this weekend. His first round of 71 in very windy conditions gave him a 1 stroke lead over Rocco Zakutney. Jacob and Rocco would remain within 1 stroke through the first nine on Sunday, but Jacob's closing 37 was enough to take home a two stroke victory over a strong field.
Taking home his 8th career victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour, Finley Bartlett posted rounds of 79-71 on his way to a six stroke victory in the Boys 14-15 division. His Sunday round score, of 1 under par, included 4 birdies as he made up a 2 stroke deficit to first round leader Will Judd, who posted a 77 on Saturday.
Sydney McClanahan posted an outstanding round of 77 on Saturday and led the Girls 14 & Under division by 10 strokes, and was also tied for the overall Girls lead. She would go on to post an 81 on Sunday and claim her second victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour, both coming at Bowling Green CC.
