Rainy day at NCR CC



Zoe Luebbers took home her first win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour in a weather shortened, and long day on the golf course. The originally scheduled 36 hole, 1 day event, was shortened to 18 holes after 2 weather delays. Zoe's morning round would include 3 birdies and an eagle at the par 5, #12, on her way to a 73. Zoe's score would place her just 1 stroke ahead of the University of Evansville commit, Destynie Sheridan, and 3 strokes ahead of the Western Michigan commit, Jenna Hayes for her first victory on tour.




Playing on his home course, CJ Scohy would take home his first victory on the GolfWeek Jr Tour, and a tie for the overall Boys 14-19 title. CJ would card 4 birdies on his way to a 1 over par, 71 which would place him 3 strokes ahead of TJ Kreusch, who was also playing on his home course. After two weather delays, the event would be officially shortened to 18 holes and CJ would claim the Boys 14-15 division title.





Luke Metzger would start Monday morning with an unfortunate double bogey on his first hole. He would turn things around quickly with birdies on his 3rd and 5th holes to get back to even par. The remainder of the round he would card 2 bogies and a birdie to finish a 1 over par, 71, He would finish 1 stroke ahead of Carson Trafford, and 2 strokes ahead of a 3 way tie with Owen Cotterman, Nathan Vonderhaar, and Brett Podobinski.
