Pollak and Suresh Victorious at Darby Creek & The Ridge

Nick Pollak (2029) earned his first win in the Boys 14-15 and overall Boys 14-19 division at Darby Creek! Nick fired rounds of 71-70 to tie with Blaise Barnum at 3-under par (141) after 36 holes of play before heading to a sudden death playoff. Both would par the first playoff hole (#10) before Nick would seal the victory with a par save on the difficult par-3 11th hole at Darby Creek! Blaise would earn runner up honors after posting rounds of 70-71. Jake Walker rounded out the podium finishers at 143 (-1) with rounds of 72-71.
Nikitha Suresh earned her 7th career GolfWeek Junior Tour victory with an impressive showing at The Ridge. She carded a new low round on the tour during the final round to solidify her place atop the leaderboard. Nikitha posted rounds of 76-69 to take home a three-stroke victory. Her 3-under par final round included five birdies in a six-hole stretch! Mallory Quickel fired rounds of 78-70 to earn runner up honors at 148 (+4). Eliza Mercer rounded out the top 3 finishers with rounds of 77-74 -- 151(+7).
Hudson Burkey took home the Boys 16-19 division victory after firing rounds of 72-70 to finish the event at 142 (-2). Hudson jumped 10 spots up the leaderboard with his final round 70 which included six birdies! This is Hudson's first victory on the GolfWeek Junior Tour! Rocco Humphreys and Michael Pagnotto finished in a tie for 2nd place at 143 (-1). Michael led the field in birdies, carding ten over the 36 holes of play!
Amelia Ricker earned her first GolfWeek Junior Tour victory in the Girls 14 and Under division after rounds of 76-77. She led the field in birdies carding 4 over the two rounds of competition. Amelia finished the event at 153 (+9) to take home a nine-stroke victory! Eva Emerson posted back-to-back rounds of 81 to earn runner up honors at 162 (+18). Savanna Blackmore rounded out the podium finishers at 163 (+19) after rounds of 80-83.
Kengo Imai led the Boys 13 and Under division from wire-to-wire firing rounds of 73-72 to take home a three-stroke victory! Hed co-led the field in birdies carding 7 over the 36 holes of play! Kengo earned his first GolfWeek Junior Tour victory in his first start on our tour. Jackson Blanda posted rounds of 76-72 to earn runner up honors at 148 (+4). Maximus Humphreys carded rounds of 74-76 to round out the top 3 finishers at 150 (+6).
