Pinney and Lim are victorious at Beavercreek

Jackson Pinney led the field wire-wire with consecutive rounds sub-70. Jackson torched the already firm and fast, Beavercreek Golf Club, with 11 birdies and only 4 bogies. He finished the final round in style, with a chip-in birdie on the 18th. Rounds of 69-68 total to a 7-under par score of 137, and a seven-stroke victory in both our Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 divisions. Brady Barnum and Andy Steed finished in a tie for 2nd Place at level par, 144.

Eva Lim held her position atop the leaderboard to win the Girls 15-19 division at Beavercreek Golf Club. Eva opened with an even-par round of 72 and a three-stroke lead over second place, Kristina Ma. At the halfway point of the final round, Eva found herself only one stroke ahead of Kristina, but played her final nine holes at 1-over par to stay ahead and take home the trophy. Eva shot rounds of 72-76 for a total score of 148(+4). Kristina Ma and Serena Wu round out our podium finishers with 2-day totals of 151 and 152, respectively.

Evan Menges won the Boys 14-15 division by five strokes with a total score of 1-over par, 145. Evan tied the low round of all golfers in round 1 with an incredible 3-under par, 69. He finished the tournament with 7 birdies over the two-day event. Brody Hayes came in second place with a tournament total of 150, 6-over par. Rounding out our top-3 finishers was Andrew Singer who finished 2 shots out of second, with a total score of 152.

Aiden Loyd led the Boys 13 and Under division from wire-to-wire with rounds of 75-75. Aiden carded 7 birdies and an eagle over the two days of competition at Beavercreek Golf Club. Carson Scheiben finished in second place, 4 strokes off the lead after rounds of 76-78. Rounding out the podium was Micah Ferguson with rounds of 85-78.

Amelia Buettner won the Girls 14 & Under division at Beavercreek Golf Club after rounds of 83-81 for a two-day total of 164. She carded 3 birdies over the two days of play which propelled her to an 8-stroke victory.
