Phillips Goes Low to Clinch Title
Cameron Phillips racked up 10 birdies and an eagle over two days at Guyan Golf and Country Club to record his sixth career Golfweek Junior Tour victory. Cameron posted a first round 68 that had him sitting two back of the leader. But a second round 66 on Tuesday vaulted him to the top of the leaderboard. His 8 under 134 total is a career record and one of the lowest marks in GJT history. Jack Michael finished the tournament in second place after rounds of 67-68 for a 135 total. Benjamin Bridges (70-69) and Liam Curtis (66-73) tied for third place at 139.

When Alex arrived on the 10th tee on Tuesday, he found himself two shots back of the leader with only nine holes to play. He then played steady golf on the back nine and recorded a 38.
