Menges into the HOF with Win at Wright State University

Fresh off earning medalist honors at US Open Local Qualifying with a 64 (-8), Evan Menges took home the top spot at Wright State's home course, Heatherwoode Golf Club. Evan carded 11 birdies enroute to his one stroke victory, finishing the event at level par with rounds of 72-70. This impressive victory marks his 6th on the Golfweek Junior Tour and earns him a spot in the Hall of Fame! Griffin Wullenweber earned runner up honors with rounds of 71-72 to finish the event at 143 (+1). Brody Hayes rounded out the top 3 finishing the event at 144 (+2) after rounds of 72-72.

Maya Fujisawa Keuling earns here third straight Golfweek Junior Tour victory after a hard-fought battle with Jenna Schmidt through both rounds of competition. Maya and Jenna both carded five birdies enroute to their top finishes. Maya posted rounds of 71-73 to earn the top spot at 144 (+3). Jenna earned runner up honors with rounds of 71-74. Carter Lankford earned third place honors with rounds of 77-76.

Luke Elliot earned his first Golfweek Junior Tour victory of his young career. He did not back down from the pressure as Colt Altenburg was charging up the leaderboard behind him. Luke connected with birdies on his final two holes the secure the win in the Boys 14-15 division! Colt earned runner up honors just one stroke back of the lead at 144 (+2), highlighted by a 2 under par final round of 69. Anthony Castiglione earned third place honors at five over par, 147. Anthony carded a Hole in One on the par 3 12th hole during the opening round, Congratulations!

Piper Jenkinson dominated the Girls 14 and Under division, earning a fifteen-stroke victory! Piper carded rounds of 80-78 to take home the trophy. Zoe Black finished the event with rounds of 86-87 to earn runner up honors. Anna Helber rounded out the top 3 finishers with rounds of 91-85.

Ben Klopfer opened with a stellar round of 66 (-5), including a six under par front nine! Ben was able to hold on to his large overnight lead to take home the Boys 13 and Under division title! Max Morgan posted rounds of 75-71 to take home runner up honors. Calder Mahoney fired rounds of 75-73 to earn third place honors.

Another full field event was hosted up at Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club. Anna Phillips took home her third Golfweek Junior Tour title in the Girls 15-19 division! Anna carded rounds of 73-74 to finish the event at 147 (+3) and win by four strokes. Sophia Stanton earned runner up honors after posting rounds of 80-71. Sophia's one under par final round was the round of the tournament! Bomin Jung earned third place honors after posting rounds of 75-77 to finish the event at 152 (+8).

Akash Chaudhari dominated the Boys 14-15 division taking home a seventeen-stroke victory! He fired rounds of 68-70 to also take home the overall Boys 14-19 division title as well! Akash carded nine birdies over the 36 holes to lead the field in par breakers. Cole Katien and Josiah Swan earned runner up honors after finishing the event at 155 (+11).

Luke Boeckman earned himself the top spot in the Boys 13 and Under division at Avalon Lakes. He carded rounds of 75-82 to finish the event at 157 and take home a five-stroke win! Chase McCauley earned runner up honors after posting back-to-back rounds of 81 to finish the event at 162 (+18). Cash McCauley earned third place honors at 175 (+31).

The Boys 16-19 division needed extra holes to decide the champion after Blake Hartman and Bailey Donahue remained tied at 146 (+2) after 36 holes of play. Blake would birdie the par 4, 9th on the first playoff hole to take home the 16-19 division title! Bailey Donahue earned runner up honors. Benjamin Berridge and Clark McGeorge earned third place honors at 147 (+3).
