Lemmon and Burrice Victorious heading into Tour Championship

Ressie Lemmon earned her third career Golfweek Junior Tour victory at the Elite Event at Gibson Bay. Ressie carded birdies enroute to rounds of 74-75 to take home the title! She finished the event with a two-day total score of 149 (+5) and earned a one stroke victory, Mary Clayton Rodgers earned runner up honors with rounds of 74-76. Josie Kelley rounded out the top 3 finishers with rounds of 78-73.

Jack Burrice dominated the Boys 14-15 division earning a commanding five stroke victory! This marks Jack's fourth Golfweek Junior Tour win! Jack boasted rounds of 72-68 to finish the event at 140 (-4) and led the field in birdies carding nine over the two rounds of play. Brookman Tyrer earned second place honors after posting rounds of 70-75. Greyson Cloern fired rounds of 72-74 to earn third place honors.

The Boys 16-19 division was a tight race to the finish with the top players finishing within five strokes of the lead. Tucker Jones fired a one under par round of 71 to earn the division title! Tucker finished the event at 143 (-1). Ashton Gordon fired an excellent round of 70 (-2) on Sunday to earn runner up honors at 144 (E). Hudson Burkey earned third place honors with rounds of 71-75.

Our second event of the weekend was hosted by Kent State University at Windmill Lakes Golf Club. Ethan White dominated the Boys 14-15 division and took home a six-stroke victory! Ethan also earned the overall Boys 14-19 division title! He fired rounds of 69-70 to finish the event at 139 (-1). Carson O'Korn earned runner up honors with rounds of 71-74. Nicholas Thompson posted rounds of 70-76 to earn third place honors.

Bomin Jung led the Girls 15-19 division from wire to wire to earn her first Golfweek Junior Tour victory! Bomin led the field in birdies carding two over the 36 holes of play. She posted rounds of 71-75 to take home a one stroke victory! Chloe Hassberger earned runner up honors with rounds of 74-73. Keegan Dyer, Kate Sowers and Paige Sowers tied for third place honors at 153 (+13).

Another first-time winner got it done at Windmill Lakes in the Boys 16-19 division. Dylan Phillips fired a final round 68 (-2) to earn a two-stroke victory! Dylan finished the event at 140, even par for the weekend. Matthew Morrone earned runner up honors after back-to-back rounds of 71 to finish the event at 142 (+2). Howie Dennis and Ben Fauver tied for third place at 146 (+6).
Mia Xu took home the Girls 14 and Under division title with rounds of 77-72 to finish the event at 149 (+9). She carded one birdies over the two rounds of play. Mia's 149 total score also placed her in third place for the overall Girls 11-19 division!
