Kastner and Lemmon Victorious in Double Header Weekend

Matia Kastner took home his first Golfweek Junior Tour victory in impressive fashion at Pipestone Golf Course. He started the final round two strokes back of overnight leader, Colton Cheeseman. Matia carded four birdies enroute to final round 69 (-3) to take home the title by three strokes at 140 (-4). Forrest Benson and Evan Hall earned runner up honors at 143, one under par for the tournament. Brody Hayes fired a four under par, 68, to finish in a tie for 4th place with Colton Cheeseman.

Ressie Lemmon put together a near flawless final round including 3 birdies enroute to a comeback victory in the Girls 15-19 division. This marks her second GWJT victory, but first in the older division. Her rounds of 72-71 earned a two-stroke victory at 143, 1 under par for the event. Beatrix Tandoc held the overnight lead after a 1 under par 71 in the opening round. A final round 74 earned her runner up honors at 145 (+1). Sixtine Charnelet rounded out the top 3 after posting back-to-back rounds of 75.

Eastin Carlson earned his second Golfweek Junior Tour victory at Pipestone Golf Course! Eastin carded rounds of 74-78 to earn a one stroke victory! William Qiao, Carson Scheiben and Hayden Li tied for runner up honors at 153 (+9). William led the way in birdies, carding eight over the 36 holes of play! Rocco DeBolt rounded out the top 5 finishers with rounds of 77-77 to finish at 154 (+10).

Angelina Chang dominated the Girls 14 and Under division with rounds of 78-74, 152 total. She carded two birdies on Sunday enroute to the low round of the tournament and her first Golfweek Junior Tour victory! Molly Atmos earned runner up honors after rounds of 80-84 for a 164 total. Stella Smith was four strokes back after posting rounds of 87-81.

Maximus Humphreys controlled the Boys 13 and Under division from wire to wire at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace. He opened with 4 birdies and an eagle enroute to a four under par 68 and continued his excellent play into the final round. Maximus finished with 74 on Sunday, leading to a six-stroke victory at 142 (-2). Anthony Sarmiento earned runner up honors after rounds of 75-73, finishing the event at 148 (+4). Joshua Maguire's final round 70 was the round of the day and earned him a 3rd place finish!
