Karoutsos Takes Home Title at Polo Fields

Joseph Karoutsos earned his first GolfWeek Junior Tour victory holding the top spot on the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 leaderboard from wire-to-wire! Joseph took an early lead with an opening round 70 (-2) and continued his excellent play into the final round. He led the field in birdies, carding eight over the two rounds of competition! Joseph finished the event at 1-over par after rounds of 70-75, congratulations Joseph! Colin Riehl posted rounds of 72-74 to finish the event at 146 (+2), one stroke back of the lead to earn runner up honors. Blaise Krol rounded out the podium finishers with rounds of 72-75 -- 147 (+3).

Boys 16-19 Results

Zane Rueger also earned his first GolfWeek Junior Tour victory in the Boys 14-15 division after a final round 73 (+1) pushed him across the finish line! He carded five birdies on the way to rounds of 75-73 to finish the event at 148 (+4) to earn a one stroke victory! Benjamin Vento fired rounds of 75-74 to earn runner up honors at 149 (+5). Jack Logar carded rounds of 74-80 to earn a third-place finish at 154 (+10).
