Into the Hall of Fame for Ryan Ford

With his 4th win on tour, Ryan Ford has earned his spot in the GolfWeek Jr Tour Hall of Fame. His two day total of 134, 10 under par, marks the lowest score ever recorded at Purgatory for GolfWeek tournaments and gave him an impressive 5 stroke victory over second place finisher Jacob Modleski. To make Ryan's performance even more impressive, he started the event on Saturday in the rain with a 1 over par 37, and would then play his next 27 holes in 11 under par recording 11 birdies and an eagle in that stretch. Ryan's two wins this year were in break away form, with an 8 under par performance at Purdue Ackerman, and this week's 10 under par performance.

Just last year, Brayden Miller won the Boys 13 & Under player of the year title, and now this year he is leading the Boys 14-15 player of the year race. His win this weekend at Purgatory gives him 3 wins this season, and with 2 other top 5's he has a large lead in the player of the year race. This weekend was close down to the finish with Brayden and Harrison Zipfel tied going into the last hole where Brayden would drain a birdie putt to take home the win by just one stroke. This marks Brayden's 8th win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour.

Ava Bunker recorded her 3rd win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour this weekend with an impressive 73-74 in two rounds that saw heavy rain both days. Having the early tee time both days, Ava saw the worst of the weather both days, but was able to battle through the conditions with the help of 3 birdies on Saturday and an amazing 6 birdies on Sunday! This marks Ava's 6th win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour during her two seasons on tour.

In what might have been the best field outside of the Tour Championship, this weekend's Boys 13 & under division was one of the largest and strongest fields in the regular season. It took a 7 under par, 137 total, for Noah Andry to win by just 1 stroke over Micah Sheffer and Alex Holder at 6 under par. An amazing 7 players were at even par or better this weekend and the shootout required Noah to post 12 birdies this weekend in order to take home the title. This is Noah's third win on the GolfWeek Jr Tour and first this season.

In just her second start on the GolfWeek Jr Tour, Taylor Larkins got her first win and posted the low round of the tournament for all girls on Sunday with an even par 72, that included 2 birdies and 2 bogies. Her impressive Sunday round was almost enough to catch Ava Bunker for the overall girls title. Taylor's weekend included 4 birdies and she played her last 20 holes of the tournament in 1 under par
