Heister Takes the Title





Daniel Heister used the low round of the day on Sunday to cap off a win in the Boys 16-19 division at NCR Country Club. The win was Daniel's second overall and first since the summer of 2020. Daniel had four birdies in the first round on his way to a 68 which tied for the low round of the tournament. Four more birdies on the final day helped him hold onto a one stroke victory with rounds of 68-70. Gavin Augenstein carded rounds of 68-71 to finish one stroke back in second place. Robert Gerwin III shot 69-73 for a 142 total and came in third place.







The Boys 14-15 division at NCR Country Club was hotly contested. Three different players held the lead on the back nine on Sunday. After 36 holes, there was still a tie which sent Finley Bartlett and Cayse Morgan into a playoff. Both players parred the first two holes of the playoff, but Cayse birdied the third playoff hole to ultimately prevail. It was the 7th win of is career and second this season. He finished with scores of 71-70 for a 141 total. Finley Bartlett shot 72-69 for a 141 total as well and came in second place. Third place was taken by Ryan Parker with back-to-back 71s for a 142 total.






Meadow Tian shot an even par 70 on Sunday at NCR Country Club to wrap up her 5th career Golfweek Junior Tour win. The 70 tied for the low round of the day, which was shared with Ava Bunker. Meadow and Ava went back and forth on Sunday, exchanging the lead multiple times. Meadow birdied the 12th hole and regained a lead she would not relinquish. She posted rounds of 73-70 for a 143 total. Ava finished the weekend with scores of 74-70 for a 144 total and finished in second. Third place was shared by Jenna Shilts (73-74) and Rowan Pies (74-73) who both tied at 147.








Brookman Tyrer posted rounds of 74-75 on the weekend at Heatherwoode Golf Club to snag his first career win on the Golfweek Junior Tour in only his second start. Brookman entered Sunday tied for the lead and birdied both of the first two holes in a hot start. Ben Fauver battled all day and Sunday and took the lead after 14. Brookman managed to play the last four holes in one under including a birdie on 16 to seal the victory. Ben finished with rounds of 74-77 for a 151 total. Patrick Myers captured third place with scores of 82-72 for a 154 total.






In the Girls 14 and Under division, Nikitha Suresh fired a first round 75, good for the round of the tournament. She never looked back as she coasted to her second career win and first since the spring of 2021. Nikitha's first round included five birdies, more than anyone else had on the entire weekend. She followed her first round up with an 83 in the second round and a total of 158. Ellie Gonzalez-Ribble finished the weekend in second after scores of 80-83, 163 total. Third place was claimed by Aubrey Barrow after shooting 85-83 for a 168 total.
