Harstine and Andry Victorious at Elite Event at Denison

Brynn Harstine dominated the Girls 15-19 division at the Elite Event at Denison. She carded an opening round 70 (-1) to take the lead and would not give it up. Her final round 76 (+5) was good enough to grab a six-stroke victory and earn her first Golfweek Junior Tour victory! Narisse Daye and Beatrix Tandoc tied for second place honors at 152 (+10). WIlla Borough and Kaylan Green tied for fourth place at 153 (+11).

Noah Andry started the final round three strokes back of overnight leader, Trent Thompson, who opened with a three under par 68. Noah turned on the jets in the final round to flip the script, carding 7 birdies enroute to a 65 (-6)! This was good enough to claim the top spot in the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division titles by one stroke! Blake Hartman posted rounds of 70-67 to earn runner up honors at 137 (-5). Max Li earned third place honors after rounds of 70-69 to finish the event at 139 (-3).

Zac McGrath led the entire field after an impressive opening round of 66 (-5). Ethan Domajnko, who started three strokes back in the final round, put together another great round of 70 (-1) to take home the Boys 14-15 division title by one stroke! Ethan finished the event 139 (-3) after rounds of 69-70. Zac McGrath earned runner up honors with rounds of 66-74 to finish at 140 (-2). Blaise Barnum posted rounds of 69-72 to finish the event 141 (-1) and earn third place honors.

Ricardo Gonzalez-Salles earned his first Golfweek Junior Tour victory at Blacklick Woods after posting rounds of 76-77 to finish the event at 153 (+9). He carded 4 birdies over the weekend, including the final hole to secure his one stroke victory! Nick Martin earned runner up honors after posting rounds of 75-79 to finish at 154 (+10). John Kaczka and Brendan Biegler
tied for third place at 158 (+14).


Adella Pawlowski dominated the Girls 15-19 division with rounds of 74-78 to finish the event at 152 (+8). This marks her first victory on the Golfweek Junior Tour and in impressive fashion as she earned a 13-stroke win! Brooke Beatty carded rounds of 85-80 to earn runner up honors. Olivia Sisk and Reagan Hoffmans tied for third place at 167 (+23).

The Boys 14-15 division was also a tight race to the finish with 8 players finishing within three stokes of the lead. Blake Finney was at the top of the board after an impressive final round 75 led his charge to comeback from five strokes back to start the day. Blake finished the event at 153 (+9) to take home a one stroke win! Quinn Farrell, Grant Boyers and Nicholas Thompson tied for third place 154 (+10).

Berkley Barnum earned her first Golfweek Junior Tour victory at Blacklick Woods, commanding a seven-stroke win! She posted back-to-back rounds of 81 to finish the event at 162 (+18). Anna Helber earned runner up honors at 169 (+25) with Jasmine Abouhassan earning third place honors at 190 (+46).

Kengo Imai opened the event with an incredible round of four under par, 68 to take a six-stroke lead heading into the final round. He continued excellent play on Sunday with a level par round of 72. Kengo finished the event at 140 (-4) to take home a seven-stroke victory in the Boys 13 and Under division! Anthony Sarmiento posted rounds of 74-73 to earned runner up honors at 147 (+3). Austin Britt earned third place honors with rounds of 76-73 to finish at 149 (+5).
