Harris and Wilson collect wins at Purgatory

Jackson Harris fired a final round two under par, 70, to take home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division titles! He started the second round two strokes back of the lead but made quick work carding 4 of his first 5 holes to take the top spot that he would hold on to the remainder of the round. Jackson led the field in birdies, connecting on 10 over the 36 holes of play. Nick Vilela, our overnight leader, posted rounds of 70-73 to finish the event at 143 (-1) to earn runner up honors one stroke back of the lead. Landon Tropf fired the round of the tournament on Sunday, a five under par 67 propel himself up the leaderboard into a tie for 3rd place with Parker Andersen at 145 (+1).

Ainsley Wilson took home her first GolfWeek Junior Tour victory after rounds of 72-77 enroute to a commanding nine stroke victory! Ainsley led the division from wire-to-wire and carding the most birdies of any other player in the field with 6 over the two rounds of play. Madeline Young and Luna Wang finished the event at 158 (+14) to tie for 2nd place.


Amaya Bellon led the way in the Girls 14 and Under division with rounds of 79-81 enroute to a ten-stroke victory. Elin Fritz posted rounds of 85-85 to earn runner up honors!

Benjamin Divido earned another victory in the Boys 14-15 division after rounds of 72-73 led to a five-stroke victory. This is his 3rd straight division victory of the season in as many events! Grant Boyers and Wyatt Oberlin finished the event at 150 (+6) to tie for second place. JT Kelley and Killian Laughlin rounded out our top 5 finishers at 151 and 152, respectively.

Gavin Davis earned his 8th career win and 5th win of the season after another dominant performance at Purgatory GC. He fired rounds of 72-70 finish the event at 142 (-2) and lead the event from start to finish. Gavin led the field in birdies carding 8 birdies and an eagle! Austin Britt posted rounds of 75-76 to earn runner up honors. Max Huffman rounded out the podium finishers at 155 (+11).
