Graham & Tian win at Vanderbilt

Our 2024 Fall Season came to a close at our Elite Event at Vanderbilt Legends Club - South Course where we had juniors from 20 US States and Canada! Carter Graham took home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division title! Graham led the field with 12 birdies over the two rounds. He found himself 3 strokes back of first round leader, Cayse Morgan, when he carded 6 birdies to flip the script and take the lead! Carter finished the event with rounds of 69-66 — 135 (-7). Cayse Morgan finished runner-up, with rounds of 66-71 — 137 (-5). Luc Kelty played his way into 3rd place with a 68 in the final round to finish the event at 139 (-3). Peyton Blackard and Jack Michael rounded out our top 5 at 141 (-1) and 142 (E), respectively.

Taylor Larkins led the way through round 1 in the Girls 15-19 division with a 1-under par round of 71. Meadow Tian started the final round five strokes behind the lead but made quick work carding 6 birdies on her opening 10 holes! She carded a 30 on the front nine, which ties our GWJT nine-hole scoring record! Meadow finished the event with rounds of 76-67 — 143 (-1) to take home the Girls 15-19 division title! Taylor Larkins finished runner up with rounds of 71-74 — 145 (+1) and Elizabeth Ryu rounded out our podium finishers with rounds of 74-75 — 149 (+5).

Chase Larson took home the Boys 14-15 division title by a commanding four-stroke margin! Chase carded 6 birdies over the 36 holes on his way to rounds of 70-71 — 140 (-1). He also came in a tie for 4th place in the overall Boys 14-19 division. Anson Munzlinger finished runner up with rounds of 72-73 — 145 (+3). Carson Andreoni rounded out our top 3 with rounds of 75-71 — 146 (+4) and led the division in total birdies with 7!
