Fauver into the Hall of Fame at Denison

Ben Fauver mounted a final round charge consisting of 5 birdies enroute to a 2-under par 69. He would finish the event at 141 (-1) and earn his 8th GWJT divisional victory and 2nd overall Boys 14-19 victory to solidify his spot in the Golfweek Junior Tour Hall of Fame! Congratulations Ben! Blake Hartman, Mitch Stock and Brady Barnum tied for 2nd place at 145 (+3). Bric Baird, WIlliam Hudson, Zach Ayers and Clark McGeorge finished in a tie for 5th place at 146 (+4). Andrew Singer carded a Hole-in-One on the Par 3 14th Hole, Congratulations!

Elizabeth Ryu and Juanita Beatrix Tandoc were tied at 148 (+6) after 36 holes of regulation play and would need a sudden death playoff to decide the victor. Holes 1 and 2 were tied with pars before both ladies rolled in clutch birdie putts on the 3rd to extend the playoff to the par 3, 4th hole. Elizabeth connected on her 15-foot birdie putt to take home the title! Great playing to both ladies all weekend! Meadow Tian and Lucy Wang finished in a tie for 3rd place at 151 (+9).

Michael Pagnotto jumped out to an early lead after an opening round 68 (-3) and led the field by 3 strokes. He would follow it up with a 3-over par round of 74, carding 2 birdies on the day to win the Boys 14-15 division at level par 142! Michael would also finish runner up in the overall Boys 14-19 division. Great playing! Mitchell Corbin finished 2nd place in the 14-15 division with rounds of 71-74 -- 145 (+3). Colt Altenburg led the field in birdies this weekend enroute to his 3rd place finish at 146, carding rounds of 75-71.

The Girls 15-19 division at Blacklick Woods came down to the wire as Anna Machamer, Adrianna Salalila and Eva Lim were tied going into the final hole. Anna Machamer connected with a closing birdie to play her final 13 holes at 3-under par to take home the title! Adrianna Salalila finished runner up after rounds of 75-79 -- 154 (+10). Eva Lim rounded out our podium finishers at 155 (+11) with rounds of 76-79.

Chase Stafford took home the Boys 16-19 division title while leading from wire to wire. Chase carded the low round of the tournament during round 1, connecting on three birdies enroute to a 73 (+1). He would cruise to victory with a final round 78 for a two-day total of 151 (+7). Chase was co-Champion of the overall Boys 14-19 divisions as well! Wyatt Lindholm finished runner up after rounds of 77-76 -- 153 (+9). Nolan Hockett and Austin Wilhoit tied for 3rd place at 154 (+10).

Brendan Biegler also led his division from wire-to-wire carding rounds of 77-74 -- 151 (+7) to take home the Boys 14-15 title! Brendan was co-Champions with Chase Stafford in the overall Boys division! Declan West, class of 2028, carded rounds of 79-77 to earn runner up honors. Edison Hill and Eli Edwards finished in a tie for 3rd place at 161 (+17).

Calli Reed's consistent play allowed her to take control of the Girls 14 and Under division at Blacklick Woods and take the title by 5 strokes! She led the field in birdies with 5 enroute to rounds of 75-75 to finish the event at 6 over par, 150. Angelina Chang, class of 2032, finished runner up after rounds of 79-76 -- 155 (+11). Eva Emerson rounded out the podium at 162 (+18), carding rounds of 76-86.

Carson Scheiben carded a hole-out eagle on the par-4 13th hole during the final round enroute to jump atop the leaderboard. He fired rounds of 74-73 to earn the title by 1 stroke! Dustin Zhao and Elijah Hall-Bromberg finished in a tie for 2nd place at 148 (+4). Elijah Kasler carded a Hole-in-One on the Par 3 12th hole during Sunday's round! Congratulations!
