Brown and Dunham Win at Wright State and Michigan

Kinsley Brown earned her second straight win on the Golfweek Junior Tour after posting rounds of 76-77 to take home the Girls 15-19 division at Wright State University - Heatherwoode GC. Kinsley carded 24 pars and 2 birdies enroute to a one stroke victory at her home course. Emily Gottman earned runner up honors after firing rounds of 79-75 to finish the event at 154 (+12). Taylor Zoz rounded out the podium finishers after rounds of 83-79 -- 162 (+20).

Patrick Paquette took home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 divisions after firing rounds of 66-69 to finish the event at 7-under par! Patrick led the field in birdies with 9 over the 36 holes of play enroute to his 4th Golfweek Junior Tour victory! Hudson Burkey started the final round three strokes back of Patrick but kept the pressure on with 5 birdies of his own. He posted rounds of 69-67 to earn runner up honors and finished the event at 6-under par. Tanner Berry and Jack Hutcheson fired excellent final rounds of 66 and 67 to tie for third place at 4-under par.


Jackson Adams posted rounds of 71-69 to finish the event at 2-under par and take home the Boys 14-15 division and earn his first Golfweek Junior Tour victory! He carded seven birdies over the course of the 36 holes of play! Harrison Young connected on back-to-back rounds of 71 to finish the event at level par and earned runner up honors. Parker Isaacs, fresh off a win last week at Elks Run, earned third place after rounds of 72-74.


Our Boys 13 and Under division was a birdie barrage as Jackson Blanda and Maximus Humphreys tied at the top of the leaderboard at eight under par! Jackson fired rounds of 65-69 and Maximus with rounds of 67-67. They would proceed to tie all 4 of the playoff holes with par before being declared Co-Champions! Ben Klopfer earned runner up honors after rounds of 76-82.

Elise Mulcahy posted rounds of 95-89 to take home the Girls 14 and Under division title! Else earned her first Golfweek Junior Tour victory in her first start on our tour!

Lucy Dunham won the Girls 15-19 division at the University of Michigan by a commanding eight stroke victory. She opened with a round of 79 and found herself one shot back of the lead. Lucy's final round 73 was the low round of the tournament and earned her the victory! Naaz Gill posted rounds of 79-81 to earn runner up honors. Emma Lohman and Marley Dunham tied for third place at 164 (+22).

The Boys 16-19 division was shortened to a 27-hole event due to weather delays during the second round. Zachary Butcher delivered an opening round punch, carding six birdies enroute to 5-under par 66. He carded an even par round of 35 in round 2 to take home the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 divisions. Blaise Krol earned runner up honors after posting 70-36 and finished the event at level par. Max Li rounded out our podium finishers at 1-over par firing rounds of 71-36.

David Han opened with a one over par round of 72 to hold the overnight lead with Luke Leverenz. David took full advantage of the final 9 holes of competition, carding a 4 under par 31 to take home the Boys 14-15 division title at -3. Luke Leverenz earned runner up honors with rounds of 72-36 to finish at 2 over par. Paiton Old fired a final round 32 (-3) to move up the leaderboard into 3rd place.
