Borough and Jones Overcome Windy Conditions at Gibson Bay

Willia Borough, Class of 2029, opened with an impressive 74 during the opening round which included 40 mph wind gusts! Willa continued her excellent play during the final round on Sunday, carding three birdies enroute to a 71 (-1). She dominated the Girls 15-19 division from wire-to-wire to take home the title at 145 (+1). Josie Kelley, EKU commit, earned runner up honors after rounds of 77-71 to finish the event at 148 (+4). Maya Fujisawa Keuling rounded out the podium finishers after posting 76-75 -- 151 (+7).

The Boys 16-19 division was dominated by a pair of EKU commits, Tucker Jones and Seth Barker. Tucker led the 16-19 and overall, 14-19 field from wire-to-wire, carding rounds of 70-71 to finish the event at 141 (-3). Tucker's opening round 70, was the low round of the day by four strokes, and even more impressive through the gusty conditions. Seth posted rounds of 74-70 to take home runner up honors to the finish the event at level par, 144. Parker Geldhof fired rounds of 74-72 to round out the top 3 finishers at 146 (+2).

Andrew Perry took home the Boys 14-15 division title to earn his second GolfWeek Junior Tour victory. He fired a final round 72 (E) to earn a five-stroke victory. Andrew finished the event at 148 (+4). Nick Pollak posted rounds of 79-74 to earn runner up honors at 153 (+9). Hunter Majors and Alex Gardner finished the event at 154 (+10) to round out the podium finishers.

The Boys 13 and Under division was a tight race to the finish as Max Huffman and Matthew White were tied going into the final hole. Max carded a birdie on the 36th hole to take home the title after rounds of 75-74! Matthew posted the round of the tournament on Sunday with a one under par, 71 to earn runner up honors at 150 (+6). Max Morgan rounded out the podium finishers after rounds of 78-77--155 (+11).
