Peyton Blackard started Sunday outside the top 10, but wasted little time putting himself right into the thick of things with three birdies in his first five holes. Peyton then added four more birdies on the back nine to fire a six under 66 and cement a huge comeback win. The victory was his 15th on the Golfweek Junior Tour, tying the all-time record set previously by Daniel Wetterich in 2015. Peyton shot 139 over the two rounds at the University Club of Kentucky. Jackson Woodburn (70-71) finished in second place at 141. Sam Sutton (73-69) and Ryan Parker (72-70) tied for third at 142.

That round left him tied for the lead. He came out and took the lead after his third hole of the day. He recorded two bogeys and two birdies on Sunday against 14 pars.
