2024 Fall Players of the Year
Congratulations to our 2024 Fall Players of the Year! With our season running from June 1-May 31, we award a fall player of the year award for all points leaders for the events played from June-November. The season long Player of the Year race concludes at the Tour Championship over Memorial Day weekend. The winners are Samuel Harris (Boys 16-19), Luke Haarer (Boys 14-15), Meadow Tian (Girls 15-19), Taylor Harstine (Girls 14U) and Hunter Majors (Boys 13U).
Samuel Harris of Charlestown, IN is our Boys 16-19 Fall Player of the Year! In 10 events, Samuel tallied eight finishes inside the top 6 including one win and one runner up. His win came at the Elite Event at NCR, carding rounds of 71-68 to take home the trophy. Samuel amassed an impressive 71.79 scoring average in his 19 rounds last fall, including 12 rounds of 71 or better. Congratulations, Samuel!
Luke Haarer of Middlebury, IN is our Boys 14-15 Fall Player of the Year! Luke tallied eight top 5 finishes in 11 events played last fall, including one win and two runner-up finishes. Otter Creek was host to Luke's first win on the Golfweek Junior Tour after rounds of 69-76. He finished the fall with a 74.41 scoring average, including six under-par rounds. Congratulations, Luke!
Meadow Tian of Delaware, OH is our Girls 15-19 Fall Player of the Year! Meadow made quick work of the fall, earning 2 wins in 3 starts. She took home the trophy at the Elite Event at NCR carding rounds of 73-72. Meadow needed second place or better to earn Fall Player of the Year heading into Vanderbilt, the final event of the fall. A final round 67 propelled her up the leaderboard from five strokes back to earn the victory and Fall Player of the Year! Meadow boasts a 71.83 scoring average though the fall events. Congratulations, Meadow!
Taylor Harstine of West Lafayette, OH is our Girls 14 and Under Fall Player of the Year! Taylor won both of 2 starts this fall at Darby Creek and Kearney Hill. Taylor earned his first win at Darby Creek after making a 20-foot birdie putt on the third playoff hole. Her 73.5 scoring average for the fall included two rounds under par! Congratulations, Taylor!
Hunter Majors of Louisville, KY is our Boys 13 and Under Fall Player of the Year! Hunter finished in the top 4 of all eight completed events, including 3 wins and three runner-up finishes. His wins were at Ball State, Purgatory and Park Mammoth. Hunter carded five rounds of par or better enroute to a 73.73 fall scoring average. Congratulations, Hunter!
