Bentley takes Apple Valley

After setting the pace in the first round taking medalist honors with a two under par, 70, Corbin Bentley came out the second day with a 34 on the front nine and 2 birdies in the first 3 holes. He patiently waited through a weather delay, and went back on the course to post another birdie and bogey for another two under, 70. He claimed the overall Boys 14-19 title for the weekend as well.

Emily Hummer continues her stellar play this Summer with another win at Apple Valley this past weekend. She has won both of the events she has played in this Summer, and had to post the low round of the day on Sunday to take home the title by just 2 strokes over Lizzie Saur. Her solid scores of 75-73 was enough to take home the overall Girls title.

It took a playoff to determine the champion in the Boys 13 & Under division after Cole Eger and Brady Barnum tied at 157. Cole Eger then parred the first hole in the playoff to win the title in the Boys 13 & Under division and take home the title in just his second start this Summer.

Carter Mishler walked away with the Boys 14-15 division with two stellar rounds of 75. He was able to claim the victory by 5 strokes over Logan Sutto and 8 strokes over Brady Catalano. This is also Carter's 1st win this Summer in 2 starts on the GolfWeek Jr Tour
