36 Holes at Dayton CC
Dayton CC had two run-away champions for the overall Girls and overall Boys titles.
Emily Hummer posted the low round of the tournament by 4 strokes with a 68 in the afternoon round. Her scorecard included a perfect 4 birdies and no birdies on her way to claim the Girls title by 11 strokes.
Zach Burton opened the tournament with the low round we have ever had at Dayton CC, a 65. His lead was still only by 2 strokes, though, as Mason Deal's 67 put him within range. Both players went out in the afternoon with even par rounds of 70 to claim the 1st and 2nd place positions respectively.
Sydney Deal, the 2019-2020 Player of the Year started the season off with another win and shot the two low rounds of the event 79-79. She posted 4 birdies for the day on her way to the first win of the season and a possible Player of the Year run.
Finley Bartlett's afternoon 71 included 3 birdies and 2 bogies as be claimed the first event in the new season. Finley is coming off a 5th place finish in the previous season's Player of the Year race and this win will start him off fast in the new season.
