Player of the Year race - Elks Run
Connor Gdovin recorded his lowest round ever, a 66, on day one! His two day total of 66-73 was enough to take home the overall Boys 14-19 title by 2 strokes over Cayden Pope who put on a late round charge with 3 birdies in the final 8 holes. Connor became our new leader in the Player of the Year race with his victory.
Casey Powell carded a 74 and tied for the low round on day two! It was just enough to edge out Lizzie Saur and Elizabeth Eberle by 1 stroke. With this victory she becomes our new leader in the race for Player of the Year!
It took a playoff to decide the Boys 14-15 division this week. With a two day total of 145, Tyler Sabo and Brady Smith headed to a playoff on the first hole where Brady was able to secure his first victory since 2018 on the GolfWeek Jr Tour
The Girls 14 & Under division turned into a shoot out after all 4 players were within 1 stroke on day one. Meiyi Wu carded the low round of 75 on the second day to win by just 1 stroke over Lisa Copeland
The Player of the Year race continues its excitement in the Boys 13 & Under division with Griffin Barke adding 280 points and a victory to move into the 3rd spot in the points standings. This race is so close that the Tour Championship will likely decide who claims the top spot
