Warren Seals Win with Playoff Birdie

Nicholasville, KY. - Hayden Warren battled hard all weekend and played the steadiest golf of anyone in the field through cold temperatures on Saturday and a strong breeze on Sunday. He led the field in pars and actually bogeyed his 36th and final hole. In the ensuing playoff, he knocked a wedge to 12 feet on the first hole and drained the putt for his first win of 2020. Carter Smith, who birdied the final two holes to force the playoff, was the runner-up. Allan Lockwood show an even par 72 on Sunday to finish alone in third place.

Sabo Continues Winning Ways

Tyler Sabo carried over the great golf from late in 2019 into the spring of 2020. He led after a 71 on Saturday and continued to grow the lead, finishing with a 35 on his final nine to secure a 6 shot victory. Sabo led the field in birdies on the weekend with 7 and used them to his advantage. Craig Long parred his final 9 holes to pass up everyone except Sabo. He finished in second place at 151. Grey Goff and Nolan Haynes tied for third place at 152 each.
