How Funds Are Dispersed
All donations to the Fore the Future of Golf Foundation are used to provide direct financial assistance to junior golfers with limited means. Grant funds are awarded to help cover travel, lodging, entry fees, and related expenses for:
-
GolfWeek Junior Tour (GWJT) events
-
National-level tournaments (including USGA Junior Amateur/Girls’ Junior, PGA Junior Championship, and other pre-approved junior championships)
In addition, for any player receiving Foundation support for GolfWeek Junior Tour entry fees, the GolfWeek Junior Tour will donate the membership fee portion and 50% of the tournament entry fee. This ensures that Foundation funds are stretched further and are primarily directed toward covering the more significant costs of travel, lodging, and other tournament-specific expenses.
