Playoff at Hueston Woods!

A playoff was necessary after 36 holes of stroke play resulted in a tie between Ally Madden and Kyleigh Dull at 2 over par, 146. Both players parred #1 and #2, but Ally's par on the 3rd playoff hole was enough to secure the victory. Ally's birdie on the last hole of stroke play got her into the playoff and from there she played a steady 3 holes in the playoff to claim her 2nd win this season

In the Boys 13 & Under, Jackson Harris took a decisive victory with a 3 under par total. However, Vaughn Harber was putting on a strong charge with making a Hole-In-One on #8 and going 5 under par his last 11 holes. It wasn't enough, though, because Jackson carded a 34 on his last nine to claim the victory.

Hayden Adams birdie on the 17th hole in round two may have been the most important birdie of his event, as he took a narrow victory of 1 shot for the overall Boys 14-19 title. His 3 under par total of 141 narrowly edged out Chuck Tragesser who was the first round medalist.

We had another close race in the Boys 14-15 division. Micah Bertram came in with the low round of the day in that division with a 1 under par, 71, to take the Boys 14-15 title by just 1 stroke over Nolan Haynes and Shane Ochs.

It all came down to the last few holes in the Girls 14 & Under division as Carter Lankford and Sydney Deal battled for the victory. Even though Carter opened the second round with a triple bogey on the 1st hole, she battled through the remaining round and parred her last 6 holes in a row to claim the low round of the day and the victory by 1 stroke.
