LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kristin Jamieson made back-to-back birdies in a playoff to defeat Panchalika Arphamongkol in the Girls 15-19 division at the University of Kentucky Golf Course.

The event was shortened to 18 holes due to snow and ice with Jamieson and Arphamongkol both firing 76.

In the first playoff hole, Jamieson rolled in a 20-footer for birdie that Arphamongkol matched. She earned victory at the next hole by sinking a 12-footer for birdie.

Playing the front nine of the UK Club twice, Jamieson finished with a birdie on her final hole to get into the playoff. Arphamongkol, who played her first 13 holes in 1-under-par, could have clinched the event with a par at the last but made bogey.

With the victory, Jamieson earned an exemption into the IMG Junior World Championships in San Diego.

Morgan Pankow shot 77 to finish alone in third place while Maggie Schaffer finished fourth with a 79.

Arphamongkol wins playoff in Girls 14-and-Under

Pemika Arphamongkol made birdie on the third playoff hole to win a 3-way playoff in the Girls 14-and-under division at the UK Club.

After Arphamongkol shot 79 in regulation, she entered a playoff against Rachel Hu and Bree Russell. All three made par on the first playoff hole before Russell was eliminated on the second hole with a bogey. Arphamongkol won on the third playoff hole with her birdie against Hu's par.

In regulation, Arphamongkol sparked her round with an eagle at the 13th hole while Hu and Russell enjoyed strong finishes to their rounds in order to force the playoff. Hu played the final four holes in 1-under-par while Russell birdied the last hole to get in.

Kirsty Mitchell shot 81 to miss the playoff by two shots and finished alone in fourth.

Armbruster earns 1-shot victory in Boys 13-and-Under

Ben Armbruster bagged his fifth win of the season by firing a 76 in the Boys 13-and-under division at the UK Club.

Armbruster carded a birdie on his 11th hole and made par on the last two to hold off Logan McCarrell and Connor Calhoun.

McCarrell played his first seven hole in 2-under-par before hitting a stretch of seven bogeys in eight holes. Calhoun played the first seven holes in even-par and suffered a critical bogey on his 16th to put him in a tie for second.

Alec Cesare shot 80 to finish alone in fourth place.
