ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – Drew Wrightson birdied the final hole to put an exclamation point on his victory in the Boys overall division at his home course of Wolf Run Golf Club.

Playing out of the Boys 14-15 division, Wrightson put together rounds of 71-72—143 and survived a rough start to his closing nine by finishing strong.

Holding off a hard-charging Joey Wiseman, who made four birdies in a 5-hole stretch in the final round to actually grab the lead at one point, Wrightson stumbled with a double bogey at 10 and bogey at 12 before settling down. Wrightson went on to make five straight pars before his birdie at the last.

Wiseman, who won the Boys 16-19 division by one shot over Andrew Lewis, shot 31 on the final round’s opening nine in building a commanding lead and finishing at 75-71—146. Lewis, who shot 75-72—147, finished in a tie for third place with Griffin Hare (72-75—147).

Lucas Beck, who grabbed the first-round lead with four birdies on his closing nine, finished alone in fifth place with rounds of 70-78—148, three shots ahead of Ty Gingerich (74-77—151).

Cole Harris (78-74—152), Nicholas Dentino (75-77—152) and Joey Ranieri (75-77—152) all shared seventh place in the overall division while Ethan Lutz (76-77—153) and Blake Wheeler (73-80—153) rounded out the top 10.
